Welcome to Carrick U3A

U3A is an organisation of men and women
who regularly gather together
to share their experiences, knowledge, philosophies,
values and ideas.
They learn from each other

It is a forum for the growth of the human spirit,
the development of friendships and
the exploration of ideas
to enrich the quality of life in the Third Age

The U3A Carrick group takes its name from the large inland waterway and natural harbour of Carrick Roads, lying between Falmouth and St Mawes. Both headlands were protected in earlier times by Henry VIII, with his heavily fortified castles at Pendennis in Falmouth and St Mawes Castle, on the Roseland penninsula.

Please, take a moment to click on Late News for a quick update of recent news items added to this U3A Carrick website, also our extensive list of Group activities!
